Ah yes...your quote...the first MTV "pretty boys" of metal, Def Leppard. I thought "Pyromania" was their best release, and I wore it out from playing it too much. Did you see the four-part "Heavy: The Story of Metal" on MTV? It was fascinating. I sat through all four-parts one late night/early morning. The series began with the metal pioneers Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin and concluded with the most recent metal acts. Dee Snyder of Twisted Sister was the main host for the series. I found it particularly intriguing when a political "witch hunt" panel headed by Tipper Gore went after the metal bands around 1986, and they were surprised to find Dee Snyder to be an intelligent and articulate spokesman for the opposition (I think they were counting on finding a "stoned" and easy push over). However, if you haven't seen the series, I highly recommend it. My baby brother is autistic. He's the one on my right hand (your viewing left)in the Sonics T-shirt.

Not too young for me...but definitely too far away (smile). And I do like 80's metal, but not the narcissistic guys with long hair (smile). I noticed you're on the autism forum. Is one of your siblings autistic?
