Interests: We look up at the moonlit sky holding hands and at that moment … time stops, we embrace and kiss as we have never kissed before. I am a spontaneous romantic and love holding hands, hugs and kiss anywhere. How about a weekend getaway to the mountains or the beach, just the two of us. Have a glass of wine in the cool of the evening as we watch the sunset over the mountains or walking barefoot on the beach as the sun sets holding hands. Life is what ever we want it to be. I don't play mental games and what I say comes from my heart. I want someone in my life that I can love and they will love me and feel the same way. I love to go to dinner in small cafes, galleries and small Jazz/blues venues but not by myself. Do you know how hard it is to take a walk in the park at sunset and hold your own hand (attempt at humor-o-well) and wish you were there? We are a wonderful loving family that wants to wrap our arms around you and your family. My two kids at home are fantastic and are always up for an adventure. Lets pickup your grandkids (kids) and take them all to the park, Disneyland, mountains, lets have a big family Barbeque. With me you have the best of both worlds if you love having kids around and still like those special times for just the two of us. The kids are not looking for a mom or step-mom just a friend that cares. Serena is a precocious 9 year-old who loves giving hugs, telling about her great day at school or how her team won the baseball championship. Garrett is 14 and as a typical teen hanging out with his buddies and working hard in school and is on deans honor roll every quarter. Eight years ago I adopted my three kids who are now 18 (daughter living on her own), 14(Garrett) and 9 (Serena my drama queen). As for me I think I have made a very good Mr. Mom along with being active in the community and will continue to be. Volunteering is an important part of my life at the Boys and Girls Club or any group that help kids. I am involved with various community activities and have chaired the Budget Committee for the local School District. I am not a couch potato, I enjoy putting on a tie and going to social functions, a play or putting on my boots and go horseback riding, have a glass of wine and read a book on the front porch. I love sailing and hope to have another project boat on the water this year. I am working to improve my golf game to the point of not yelling “FOUR”, reading, taking walks with Cowboy (my German Shepard), Working on old cars with my son. I have traveled to China, Thailand, Korea, Germany, France, Switzerland and many other countries. I would love to tell you about my adventures and misadventures, be sure to ask me about riding the Camel at the “Great Wall” in China.
