Music: About the only music types I don't like are: country, rap and heavy metal. Otherwise, I like Classical, jazz, Mellow Rock. Some examples: Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Eagles, Jackson Browne, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Dan Fogelburg, Cat Stevens, Loggins and Messina, Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton, Bonnie Raitt, Josh Groban, TV Shows: Grey's Anatomy, HGTV, American Idol (The finals), This Week, The Olympics when they are on, USC football. Movies: Babette's Feast, Fried Green Tomatoes, Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood, You've Got Mail, The Great Debaters, Akeelah and The Bee, Books: Three Cups of Tea, The Kite Runner, Theology books, or books on Spirituality, Celtic Spirituality, Biographies. More About Me: I am an ordained Presbyterian Pastor for 22 years. I am presently serving as a hospice spiritual counselor. I am a single mom of an awesome 15 year old son, who is the joy of my life, and I am actively involved in supportive ways with his life (Drumline and music). I am also a now only child (Lost my brother 7 years ago), of elderly parents who I am joyfully present for on a daily basis. We are a close and attentive family who genuinely enjoy being together. I am a compassionate person, and am told I have a great sense of humor, but not at anyone else's expense. In fact I can poke fun at myself very easily. The activities I do are mostly ministry related, and people related. My friends are in every age group, but I have a healthy balance between people time and alone time. I enjoy time at our cabin in the mountains as my place of rest and replenishment, family, and being close to nature. I am an animal lover. -
