Hello Again Chapgirl, My apologies for not keeping in touch more but i'm happy to tell you that I have been busy especially in terms of my relationship with the wonderful man that I have met on e-H. We have been seeing each other for just over two months now. Everthing is going very well but unfortunately we have to be apart now. He is in a different city for work and I am with my youngest son who is doing his last year of high school. We miss each other and I hope that our relationship can withstand being apart. How are things with you? I hope that you are well and that you meet or perhaps have alrady met a special person to share your life. ALL THE BEST. I may sign off of e-H soon so if you don't hear from me that's why.

Hello Again chapgirl, Re being a well educated female with a successful career and being 50ish. I was afraid that this would be a deterant in my case as well but am happy to say that someone i'm interested in initiated communication, we're into open communication now and I hope to meet him soon. But it is hard being patient. I am spiritual and not religious but have been keeping this quote on a little pull open card from the Salvation Army on my refrigerator "When I am impatient for results, help me slow down and wait for God's answer." You are right - it only takes one; one who can see inside a person who was successful in life! And they are out there. All the best. Ruby P-C

Hi There, Your point about not projecting problems of the past onto a new person is right on! My daughter's father and her boyfriend's father were both heavy drinkers, and she is super concerned about the possibility of it happening again in her life. I have encouraged her not to assume that it will because, at this point, there is no reason to think that the young man will have that problem. Thanks for your insight. Nice to meet you!
