| Interests: | I can shoot hoops (I have some wicked trick shots), start a fire without matches, teach canoeing, beat a Grandmaster in chess, dance like there's no tomorrow, play the electric guitar, make chicken soup for a sick person, play the piano, tell when people are lying to me (body language and involuntary eye movement), make friends with someone I just met, alternately raise both eyebrows in succession, speak in front of hundreds and thousands of people, be a good listener, give CPR and emergency breathing, show my dimples when smiling (see my photo, I have giant dimples), fix just about any computer problem, help out the needy, create awesome presentations, am a Eagle Scout and come from a family of Eagle Scouts, bike the C&O canal, not lose at Atlantic City (haven't lost yet), play volleyball in the sand, throw a frisbee, play the banjo, eat King Cake, catch a frisbee under the leg, am up for spontaneous road trips, do yo-yo tricks, play Guitar Hero 3 on Expert, drink you under the table, create and manage a network of 25000 people, change my own oil, paint, walk, run, lift weights, play at being a bartender, do my own laundry and cook my own food, iron a shirt, hit the gym, sing in the car, talk about wine and alcohol, split aces and eights, hit a baseball, laugh uncontrollably, play the clarinet, fix a house at Habitat for Humanity and Appalachia Service Project (ASP), make my own CDs of the top radio stations so it sounds like the radio without commercials, tell when people are bluffing, love to travel, quote movies, rush through airports, serve as a lifeguard, bring out the best in others, wear a costume for Halloween, solve riddles and puzzles, turn beet red when embarassed, speed read, travel without a map, keep a spare map in the backseat just in case, am 6'3" and in shape, been to 8 Mardi Gras, love the Cafe du Monde, am a expert camper, a Methodist, and a great friend. And that just scratches the surface of who I am. My videos below on the left are from Bill Cosby: Himself, talking about drinking, and from Family Guy, the funniest scene ever in that show. |

My Favorites
Music: Santana - Into the Night; Killers - When You Were Young; The Beatles - everything; Nickelback... really anything by Nickelback, Santana, or the Killers. I enjoy rock, country, and classical music, and I like pretty much everything except heavy metal and profane rap music. TV Shows: Heroes, Simpsons, News, Family Guy, The Office, Star Trek TNG/DS9/Voyager, Lois and Clark - The Adventures of Superman. House and Doctor Who look interesting. I want to see 24, CSI, Reno 911, and Lost. Movies: Spiderman, Spiderman 2, Spiderman 3, U.S. Marshalls, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Next, Pirates of the Carribean, The Illusionist, X-Men 1-3, Hot Fuzz, 300, Princess Bride, Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters 2, The Prestige, Harry Potter 1-5, Night at the Museum, Old School, Fantastic Four, Fantastic Four - Rise of the Silver Surfer, Cradle 2 The Grave, The Marine, A Night At The Roxbury, Anchorman - The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Dodgeball - A True Underdog Story, Groundhog Day, Ferris Beuller's Day Off, Remember The Titans, Star Wars - The Phantom Menace, Star Wars - Attack of the Clones, Star Wars - Revenge of the Sith, Star Wars - A New Hope, Star Wars - The Empire Strikes Back, Star Wars - Return of the Jedi, Galaxy Quest, The Da Vinci Code, Pleasantville, Back to the Future, Austin Powers - International Man of Mystery, Austin Powers - The Spy Who Shagged Me, Austin Powers - Goldmember, Narnia, Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Thank You For Smoking, National Treasure, National Treasure 2, Forrest Gump, Jumper, Dark Knight, Kung Fu Panda, Iron Man Books: Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes, Da Vinci Code, Digital Fortress, Angels and Demons, The Hunt for Red October, The Godfather, The Count of Monte Cristo, The Three Musketeers, The Man In The Iron Mask, Saga of Recluse Quotes: Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? - Juvenal. Translated as "Who watches the watchers? "Laughter is the best medicine." Uncle Ben: Remember, with great power. comes great responsibility. John Royce: I thought we didn't take our work personally. Sam Gerard: We don't. I do. Gandalf: In the common tongue it reads "One Ring to Rule Them All. One Ring to Find Them. One Ring to Bring Them All and In The Darkness Bind Them." Galadriel: The world is changed. I feel it in the water. I feel it in the earth. I smell it in the air. Much that once was is lost, for none now live who remember it. It began with the forging of the Great Rings. Three were given to the Elves, immortal, wisest and fairest of all beings. Seven to the Dwarf lords, great miners and craftsmen of the mountain halls. And nine, nine rings were gifted to the race of men, who, above all else, desire power. But they were, all of them, deceived, for another Ring was made. In the land of Mordor, in the fires of Mount Doom, the Dark Lord Sauron forged in secret a master Ring, to control all others. And into this Ring he poured his cruelty, his malice and his will to dominate all life. One Ring to rule them all. Gandalf: You cannot pass! I am a servant of the Secret Fire, wielder of the Flame of Anor. The dark fire will not avail you, Flame of Udun! Go back to the shadow. You shall not pass! Gimli: Oh come on, we can take 'em. Aragorn: It's a long way. Gimli: Toss me. Aragorn: What? Gimli: I cannot jump the distance, you'll have to toss me. [pauses, looks up at Aragorn] Gimli: Don't tell the elf. Aragorn: Not a word. Inigo Montoya: That Vizzini, he can *fuss*. Fezzik: Fuss, fuss... I think he like to scream at *us*. Inigo Montoya: Probably he means no *harm*. Fezzik: He's really very short on *charm*. Inigo Montoya: You have a great gift for rhyme. Fezzik: Yes, yes, some of the time. Vizzini: Enough of that. Inigo Montoya: Fezzik, are there rocks ahead? Fezzik: If there are, we all be dead. Vizzini: No more rhyming now, I mean it. Fezzik: Anybody want a peanut? Vizzini: DYEEAAHHHHHH. John Nash: Classes will dull your mind, destroy the potential for authentic creativity. General: You ever... just *know* something, Dr. Nash? Nash: Constantly. Captain Hook: What would the world be like without Captain Hook? Andy: I guess it comes down to a simple choice really: get busy living, or get busy dying. More About Me: 2/7/09 - First date with a stunning redhead. 2/13/09 - Second date, first kiss..
