If you lived closer, I could take you on a "date" and critique your dating etiquette (since I'm such an expert) Ha! Ha! Perhaps, your desire to have a serious relationship is evident in the first date and sometimes that sort of thing might cause a woman to back away, especially if she's not looking for the same thing. I adore a guy with a good sense of humor, one who can make me laugh out loud. I went out with a guy once who was so serious it made me as nervous as a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. I couldn't wait to get away from him. Whew! That's my 2.5 cents. Keep searching. She's out there somewhere.

Hello. Thank you for the message and the compliment. I suppose not everyone thinks I am handsome. Aside from that I am not sure what the problem is. I do not come on too strong at all. When I go out, the discussion is based on where we are at ... such as a flea market perhaps (I work near a major flea market/mart so that is why I occasionally meet people there). Other places I have taken dates have been the boardwalk, a restaurant, a concert or a mall ... certainly varied places. Good luck to you too! Michael
