Well Lynn, my brother once experienced something similar to what you are going through. He came home complaining one night about his fiance' who he had been with for 18 months and lving with for 9 of those 18 months. After my mothe listened to him complain. She asked was he through and proceeded to give him the advice that I'm now going to give you and that I give all of my friends. It doesen't take you 18 months to figure out you want to spend your life with someone and not commit by marrying them, much less 7 years. I'm trying to be harsh, but this is advice that I give my female friends when they tell me they've been with a guy for 2 years and he hasn't popped the question. So maybe you should (after 7 years of him waiting) jump all in.
