Interests: Fun yet practical sincere and thoughtful........ For fun: Music- especially rock music is a big passion of mine. Main instrument is the electric guitar- in successful live bands. I have been playing music longer than not been playing and have a little home studio/music room. I am also a classic car nut and amateur mechanic. favorite hot spots: For holiday destinations I love the mountains- either to hike up or ski down. favorite things: Cooking food from the basic ingredients- no sauce jars in my kitchen! I would love to cook you a tasty curry (can vary from spicy to Thai) or, stir fry, Italian food or mousaka. Or just make something up from whatever is in the cupboard. last read: Lord of the Rings is my favourite book and is also my favourite all time film(s).

    The Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is in Wyoming and it is rated as one of the best skiing resorts in our country. Located in Teton Village--(Grand Teton National Park). You can google it for more info. It's one of my favorite places to ski.

    Hi Johnnyg. Yes, male bashing should be illegal. :) Actually, I'm in Wyoming, not Alaska, but the climates are similar. The snow is coming down in huge clumps today. Everything is covered in white. Absolutely beautiful!

    You had me lost in one of your post when you said "the average man" couldn't own property until your parents' generation. I'm from the states, so that wasn't making sense. I had to come check out your location. I see you are in the U.K. I didn't know that about the U.K. Perfect example of how easy it is to miscommunicate. Anywho, I had a chance to spend a couple of weeks in London once. Loved it. :)
