Thank you for your advice. Relationships are SO difficult and so often I cannot trust my perceptions! He seems committed and tries to calm any insecurities I voice to him, so I try not go overboard with them. I think a lot of his irritation is from his thinking that I am trying to break things off over what I perceive as problems. But what if I am ignoring a major red flag? That's why these advice boards are so valuable. I know not all of the advice is good, but some of it is really insightful and I appreciate all that I can get.
