My Favorites
Music: Symphonic movie soundtracks, particularly by John Williams, James Horner, Howard Shore, Basil Poledouris, some Anime music, Johnny Cash, Jimmy Buffett, and a variety of stuff from other pop groups. Most bands can write a song or two that I like, but other than Cash or Buffett, I usually don't label myself a fan. TV Shows: The Simpsons, Futurama, Star Trek (ToS, TNG, DS9), Good Eats, Robot Chicken, Firefly, Psyche, Family Guy Movies: The Star Wars Saga, Indiana Jones, Jaws, The Lord of the Rings, The Godfather, most Pixar fare. Books: Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising, The Last Command (Timothy Zahn Star Wars novels), The Lord of the Rings (J.R.R. Tolkien), A Song of Ice and Fire (George R.R. Martin), Band of Brothers (Stephen Ambrose) Quotes: D'oh! More About Me: Technically, I'm not single: I'm widowed. A small distinction, to be sure, but one that is important.
