My Favorites
Music: A little bit of everything-but especially street corner harmony. I'm a sucker for love songs. Don't care much for music where I can't understand the lyrics. TV Shows: None. Movies: Like Water for Chocolate, Yojimbo, Godspell, Silent movie comedies, Godfather 1 & 2, Rio Bravo, Casino, Ghost Dog, Dark Knight. Books: Too many to mention-I'm a bibliophile. I prefer humor to serious works, biography to fiction. A new favorite is "Run, Run Because You Can" by Sarah Levis. It's a great book about just how strong a person can be when they face adversity. I also love the "Joshua" series by Fr. Joseph Girzone. Quotes: Man: "All I want is to find the Perfect Woman." Woman listening: "If you do-why would she want you?!" LOL!!! "There is no remedy for lost love but to love more." * Henry David Thoreau * More About Me: I live, love, lose and learn. Someday, I hope to get it right enough so that I win. Finding the right one is like trying to find the match for an intricately cut jigsaw puzzle piece. I have come close before, but am still looking for that perfect fit. In the meantime, I continue to try and be better than I was yesterday. -
