Gorgeous! And there is always someone else to find. TV Shows: Gosh, do folk still watch TV? Well, I guess I do like the Chaser and have the West Wing on DVD Movies: Favourites movies include Kenneth Branagh's Hamlet, Breakfast at Tiffinies, Roberto Benigni's Life is Beautiful, Russell Crowe in The Insider, Fail Safe, The Englishmen who went up a hill and came down a mountain, Contact. The best movie I saw last year was The Bands Visit. Books: Where do you begin? Favourite authors include John Barnes’ Orbital Resonance, Richard Condon's The Manchurian Candidate, Daniel Yergin’s The Prize, Mil Millington’s Things my girl friend and I argue about, Richard Dawkins, Simon Winchester, Henning Mankell, Bernard Cornwell. And the most wonder novelist I’ve ever read is the late David Feintuch. Quotes: Holly: "Of course, I can't really think of anything I've never done." Holly Golightly Breakfast at Tiffinys More About Me: I has aspiration to be gasping my last breath while holding the crinkling hand of a long time love. But thus far they've beaten my off this mortal coil or found me too maddening. But I remain optimistic. If I can avoid driving the more recent Princapessa to despair. meeting intriguing women and allow for serendipity as to whether I met someone I want to grow old with. My life is pretty okay. I get about, have sole care of my adolescent children (less dependent these days), interesting work (if modestly paid) good friends, might like more lovers (we guys are like that). I checks out bargain fares, cycle about Melbourne (or Christchurch), stays at back packers or 5 star hotel when they have Wot-If specials, makes a passable Bolognese (it simmers while I down a beer), loiters at local gym (to escape the adolescent sons). Check out plays, bands, and concerts, and browse book shops. I do own [a] suite, but could do with a new jacket, help out with sons scout troop and few community groups, come from the usual dysfunctional family and can be madding if not mad. -
