In almost every relationship I have seen, most of the tension and misunderstandings come from the fact that females make things more difficult than need be. I have learned to take a DEEP breath and just let things be.

To me a women who wants everything from me gets nothing a women who expects nothing gets everything

How is this any different from what women want??!!

One more comment, Dr Smalley, the Christian Relationship Guru, always says a "woman" instinctively knows what it takes to make a relationship work, so listen to her. If you kill her "spirit"/"heart" you'll kill yourself by getting nothing from her... She can't give something you "won't" feed. Sex starts in the kitchen/living room, with snuggles, hugs, smiles, pecks on the back of the neck.. 24/7... not just when you see her and want it. Men are visual and women are sensitive to buildup. so men are quick to burn, and women are slow to burn. It's a courting process your whole life. She will give you what you want because she wants to please you. But you've got to court her your whole life... period... things change because you stopped making the effort. We don't care about the big gifts, it's the little one's that count more. Pour that cup of coffee/tea while "she" gets ready for work, make breakfast, fold the laundry, dishes, etc. It the little things guys that makes us appreciate you, in knowing we "don't Have" to do it all and you will be there to help and support us..

I am 60 and what I've actually seen and experienced is the men are not willing to become what he wants in a woman, and vice versa, and the women are the same way. You have to be what you want. period. I also see that women are more willing to share the wealth than men too.. I will not be with someone who wants me to share their family and not share their and themselves.
