My father raved about the show on the USA Network. I finally caught a marathon rerun over the 4th of July weekend and watched all 12 episodes in two days. Now I'm hooked and loving the 2nd season.

Is anyone else a huge fan? Sophie cracks me up. Really, each characterhas great personalities/quirks which is so rare. I think this show is worthy of network praise and has really opened my eyes to feeling like cable shows can kick some major network arse.

I swear I know how to use EHA. When I posted this there was a long delay before going through...actually it never went through. So, I just left this site all together. Then this morning, I see it posted twice. I like Burn Notice but not enough to create two identical topics! To bad there's no delete option.

Uhhhhh.......what show are you talking about? Can't think what show has "Sophie" in it. I don't watch sit-coms, so I probably wouldn't know the show anyway.

I've watched many of the episodes and enjoy it. Seems like sort of an updated version of "The Equalizer" from the 80s(?).

B-This may be our only common ground. I LOVE Burn Notice. The plots, casting, sardonic humor, and basic decency are so wonderful. That show will win Emmys. Bet. Siren

Ha! Ha! I really enjoy Burn Notice and I use to watch The Equalizer too. But I must say, I do enjoy watching Michael Weston more than whatever that other character's name was!

(Never thought of the comparison but now it isobvious. I hope I do not start injecting The Equalizer'sface into my Michael Weston's fantasies! If I do, I know who to blame!)

Love it! It's been on my list of favorites for a while. Mr. Weston really puts the screen on fire!

Like Linda said, there is not "Sophie" in the show. Michael's ex girlfriend's name is Fiona, whom everybody (except for his Mom played by Sharon Gless) called "Fi". Could that be the confusion?

Anyway, Burn Notice is a personal favorite of mine (I even downloaded the songs from the previews--"Everybody Wants You" by Billy Squier and "Tick Tick Boom" by The Hives). One of the few shows that I can watch the repeats over and over and still be entertained.

oh...and BRUCE CAMPBELL ROCKS!
