In my opinion I think Criminal Minds is a much better shown than CSI. Criminal Minds take it to the next level. The shows actually shows the horror of the crimes. The characters are unique and differ from one another.

I just can't get into CSI. Every episode feels the same, and very boring. Some of the characters seem too similar to me.

I watch Criminal Minds and 2 of the 3 CSI shows (Miami & NY). My favorite of the three is Criminal Minds. I like the way they develop the investigation. My bf doesn't usually like any of the crime shows, but he started watching Criminal Minds with me and watches it now when I'm not even around.

Love criminal minds, will even watch repeats which happens rarely if at all with whatever else is on TV. CSI has some of the most lack lustre characters and the story lines are all the same. Criminal Minds has characters you can get into and good actors playing the parts. It is an intelligent show. Miami with that red-headed lead character (can't think of his name or character name) with the monotone voice drives me insane. How this show is popular is way beyond me.

ditto looooooove criminal minds!
that redhead and his dumb sunglasses Horatio-on CSI really lame-there is a girl at work who does a great impression of him and we all laugh our heads off-I love Garcia and my boy Malcolm-love their chemistry together-love when he calls her "baby girl" loved that episode when she was shot--cheers! have a great day

Another vote for Criminal Minds. I'm not that big of a fan of "procedural" shows, but CM has a great storylines and connections between the characters, both the story-of-the-week ones and between the profilers themselves.

This is how I started watching, except it was an old roommate.
