As 'embarassing' as this is, I'll own it. I am a real housewives junkie. I think part of the draw for me is that I've always had strong, supportive relationships w/ women and I enjoy seeing how they relate and interact w/ one another.

My favorite is New York. What is yours? I'll admit I watch all of them; NJ and Atlanta are my least favorite. Who is your favorite housewife? Mine was Bethenney, but she's not returning. Now, I'm into Beverly Hills. I missed Thursday nite's episode and just saw the rerun and am hooked at can't wait to see this week's.

I gave up soap operas after high school. This is so much worse, yet I enjoy it.

Any followers of RH of anywhere?

Okay...I'll admit it....I watch the shows. It is one of my guilty pleasures on the weekend when I am home during the day, or during vacation time.

(whew!...that felt good coming out of the closet...)

Back on topic...my favorite was the Housewives of OC, and New Jersey....but I don't see the OC shows on the air anymore and now that the crazy lady was booted off the NJ show I am trying to get into the Beverly Hills show.

The Atlanta and NY housewives were too sedate for my taste, but I watched an episode of the Atlanta show yesterday and it seems to be heating up...woooo hoooo!

(*ahem*....back to grading papers...)

I like the OC too. I forgot about D.C.--couldn't get into that one. And Atlanta has been more interesting, w/ what NeNe is going through. The one from OC who renewed her vows last season divorced--what's her name--who runs her own ins. company?

Thanks for fessing up legend. I agree that it is a guitly pleasure.

I could not get into the DC show...too strained...slow...

NeNe is the reason I watch Atlanta...I miss the OC show...it was the best one!

B Hills comes on Thurs nite, and this semester I'm teaching class on M and W. Next semester, T and TR.

I used to arrange my schedule around my weekly poker nite. Now, I think I'm going to have to break down and get Tivo, which is what my students keep telling me.

I saw another one of posts about relocating. While people from El Paso almost don't consider ourselves living in TX, I can help you get a job--a year or two here might help you 'get' to San Antonio or Houston, if I recall. The people I work w/ at my part time job are super laid back.

Back to the thread, I'm looking forward to seeing how Tamra has adjusted and hopefully thrived.

Legend, do you think we're the only ones willing to come out of the closet on this?

LOL....wait til folks hear I also watch Maury when I'm on vacation...that'll really shake 'em up!

I so love it when the female is screaming and jumping up and down saying she is 99.9% that a guy is the father...then Maury pronounces "HE IS NOT THE FATHER"!!!!

...or when a guy is pontificating on how he had a bike accident when he was 5y/o and can't have children and then he hears "YOU ARE THE FATHER"....another guilty pleasure...

You can't make this stuff up...the only thing I always ask is "Where DO they find these people?"....lol...PRICELESS!

I admit i am a viewer of the house wives of Atlanta and of New Jersey and sometimes D.C. i think i watch them because deep down inside i want their supposed fortunes lol but logically i know with their money comes problems and with their vastly never ending problems comes the bickering high schoolesk drama. So while i watch the shows i've yet to be able to set my watch by them lol and can live with missing a few episodes.
