The men-a-trois episode was classic.

Jerry: "What?!? I'm not an orgy guy"

There were too many non-sexual episodes of this show for some preferences to seem reasonable to me. I recommend that those posters watch the latest season of Dr. Who to offset their growing taste for overtly sexual themes on television.

Probably anytime George goes off the rails for something trivial.

But, if I have to be specific... one moment in particular that I think is classic is when he and Jerry are trying to find a way to make the roommate switch. All is lost... they've given up... and then George storms back into the apartment, screaming in triumph, "IIIIIIIII GOT IT!!!!!!"

Then, his reaction when Jerry says "It's the perfect plan. So inspired, so devious, yet so simple," is "This is what I do."

Simply perfect.

All the episodes were soooo funny that it's hard to choose.

Agree. Any time George went off the rails was good. Like when he tried to convince the Unemployment Office woman that he was actually looking for a job and had just interviewed with Van De Lay Industries from whom he expected a job offer soon. Of course Kramer answered the phone while George had gone to use the bathroom at Jerry's place, and blew that story out of the water.

Kramer's crazy ideas were also hilarious. Like the time he decided he was going to get less sleep by napping for 5 minutes every hour or something like that. He accidentally fell asleep at his Russian girlfriend's place. When she couldn't rouse him, she assumed he was dead and had one of her goons dispose of him in the East River.

Or when he took to swimming in the East River for exercise and funked up Elaine's mattress. Later she got pinned under the mattress while hauling it.

Or his strike at the bagel place for better hours. I don't think he actually worked there. At least I don't think he was getting paid to work there.

Or when he decided to use butter instead of suntan lotion.

Or when he was taking karate and unabashedly boasted about beating all the eight-year olds at his level.

Or his attempt at multi-tasking just when Elaine's boyfriend was getting over his extreme germophobia. Kramer fixed that by explaining that he washed and cooked their dinner in the water while he showered in it.

Then of course there were the dating episodes. George taking his date over to his parents when he had moved back in with them, and trying to convince her that the home, replete with kitschy 1950's decor was actually his. Of course his parents come home early from their trip, and his mom has a conniption when she catches them in her bed.

Or Jerry's girlfriends--the forgotten name that rhymed with a woman's body part, the woman who played with her peas, the woman who always wore the same dress, Ms. man hands, etc.

Or Elaine's explanation of why she could never stand to be homeless--the bad hair, the ill-fitting clothes...you know, the stuff that really matters to survival.

*sigh* I really miss that show. It was such a classic!
