I was so, SO sad to hear that Captain Phil from Deadliest Catch died yesterday. He was my favorite!

Capt. Phil Harris of TV's 'Deadliest Catch' dies after stroke - CNN.com

At least he died doing what he loved -- he will be missed!

Indeed. I'm a DC fan myself and will miss him very much.

Bummer, not too many guys like that left, always a shame to hear about the death of a guy whose mold was broken the day he was born.

I recently read that he had died - don't know how I missed that.

He was quite a character. Hopefully his sons will be able to carry on.

To think, all that danger for all that time, and it's a stroke that gets him.

Anyone watch the show last night? It was sad, but not as bad as I expected (I thought it was going to be a sob fest!).

I watched it.....a great tribute...just a small select few sitting in a roundtable-type setting..

Yes...I watch that show...and IceTruckers...and Dual Survival...and American Choppers....and I watch all the extreme sports events.

It is what it is...RIP Capt Phil
