Do you speed through the commercials on DVR or do you let them play?

What commercials do you enjoy the most? Which are your LEAST favorites?

~~~
I'm a weird creature in that I enjoy commercial breaks. Probably because I like silently issuing a challenge to marketers to "sell me" - and seeing what sways me and what doesn't.
Commercials I love include: Discovery Channel's "I love the whole world..." series (those are my faves!), I like the cell phone commercial where the parents are tweeting and FBing and, of course, the eHarmony commercials always make me smile.
My least favorites: In three words, "Girls Gone Wild". LOL. I also despise those delicious, tempting fast food commercials they play late at night, which are usually followed by a weight loss ad which I also hate.
~~~

How about you?

Lori, that cell phone commercial that you mentioned makes me laugh every time I see it! When the dad looks up & gives that little half-laugh, I crack up. My 13 yo daughter thinks I'm completely insane because of it!

I have a background in television marketing, so I tend to watch commercials. I personally am LOVING the Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich commercials with the sun and the planets...

"I feel awesome." Sun replies, "You're all awesome." That line is a staple in my household now.

Least favorite would have to be ANYTHING done by local car dealerships here in Denver. Do they really think that by actually YELLING at us, we'll be more compelled to buy a car from them?!? *scratches head*

ScrapBetty, I am with you on the car commercials. I have a policy that I will never buy a car from a dealership that yells. Luckily I am a Honda gal and the local Honda place has quiet ads (Christmas jazz even in their Christmas ones!)

Not a big fan of the Jimmy Dean commercials myself but that is really cute about the "awesome" line and your family! Who says TV can't have a good effect!

LOVE the dad tweeting on the commercial mentioned above! It makes me laugh everytime. I also love the commercial with the mom that saves the rolled over minutes. She reminds me of some people and makes me laugh too!

I like the Fruit of the Loom commercials with the actors dressed up like fruit and I also like the Bally's commercials that come on after the holidays when they use real people (not the ones where they show people actually at the club working out). I'm talking about the one like last Xmas when the woman was bent over the fire place in a red bath robe with her butt in the air and her little girl comes down the stairs and says "Santa Claus!!!" Cracks me up.

Now, see, I like that little gecko! And the cavemen.

The ones I dislike.....Viagra? Cialis? I don't know what they're selling, but the couples are in two bathtubs way out in the middle of nowhere, with no indication of plumbing unless it's all underground, and I just have to wonder.....How do they get the water in there?

I love me some football commercials. Anything with Peyton Manning in it is sure to be a hit! The new Polamalu commercials about his hair are hilarious (although I HATE the Steelers and me liking anything about them is very hard to admit). The Super Bowl commercials are always worth watching. The Bud Light ones are funny too

Beer ads - they are the best. So entertaining ... at least the Carlton, Tooheys New, Pure Blonde and Hahn ads are usually funny.

I detest all ads when the cricket is being screened live ... except for when I know the batsmen are changing over or they're having drinks or lunch breaks.
