I like the commercial where the lady is standing at the door and there is a racoon outside. She calls "here, kitty kitty," and lets him in. Cracks me up. I don't even know what product the commercial is about. Lol.

New favorite...

HP printers has a new commercial. A baby is sailing across the landscape of America at a high rate of speed, across the desert, along the highway, through city traffic, passing cars and trucks, in a walker! It's all done to the tune of the classic folk-rocker I've got a Brand new pair of Rollerskates.

Great ad, HP! A lot of others could learn a thing or 3 from you.

That ad is SO cute -- it's a great song ("I've got a brand new pair of rollerskates..." and the baby's face is just so awesome.

The new Toyota commercial grates on me. The little curly blond boy quips, "Just because you're a parent, doesn't mean you have to be ah-lame", whatever 'ah-lame' is. Come on Toyota, if you're going to use kids to hawk products aimed at adults, at least get a kid that can speak a little more clearly. I also dislike the premise. If the kid doesn't like his parent's 'uncool" car, then he can do what I did at that age, walk! Thats right! Walk. I walked to school, to my friend's house, to the store, movies, parks, everywhere. On the rare occasion I got a ride from my parents, or my friend's parents, it was a treat, and we could care less what type of car it was, and remember, there were a lot of so-called uncool cars around in the 1970s. If todays 8-10 year olds are really that concerned about being seen in uncool cars, than they should do like the boy in the commercial and get a job, then lay out 35k, (or more) and buy their parents a car they think is worthy of sitting their spoiled little behinds in.

***Rant #1 over***

Kit-Kat...your commercials are still irritating, for the same reasons of one of my previous posts...I mute it every time, and I don't buy the product, even though I used to like them.

**Rant #2 over***

Any ad people on these boards?

i am bothered by the eharmony commercials. there are black/white couples but why are otehr interracial couples always asian and white?. white man/asian woman or asian man/white woman. I am a Jamaican woman and my boyfriend is a Chinese man. which is very common in Jamaica and very common in the US. it is just not a combination you see on television commercials. they need to be more diverse.

I have 2 old faves.

The first is with a squirrel out gathering nuts and hiding them. Then he returns home in a hollow tree and there's "post it notes" everywhere to remind him where he hid them.

The second was a beer commercial. A bunch of NHL goalies are gathered in a pub, and Patrick Roy walks in. None of the goalies recognize him until he puts his goalie mask on... then they're all "HEY...BUDDY!"
