I have just recently started watching season 1 and am hooked! I don't watch much TV but tend to watch things more as they come out in the season package. Is this as addicting as I've heard?

I have to say, Lost is the best show I have ever seen in my life! yes, I am serious.


It is as addictive as ....hmm. sleep!? lol


KUgtu4- you will love it and do come back here with thoghts. I have too many to mention. I can't wait for next season too bad its a looooong wait! agh

Once they revealed it was Locke in the coffin, I immediately thought:


1. How did he get off the island?


2. How did he die?


Question #1 has a few possible answers:


A.) That same doc that recruited Juliet (and is part of the "original" others) knows how to get off the island and told Locke. By the way, that "doc" never ages - he looks the same age as he did when he approached Locke when Locke was a small boy. Another "miracle" of the island - and it demonstrated that he knows how to leave the island and get back.


B.) Just like Ben, Locke "moved" the island - thereby time & space traveling and thus leaving the island. However, Ben said that once you left, you weren't supposed to go back so why is he now saying that Locke's body needs to go back? More questions.


No idea on an answer to Question #2.


That's the genius and frustrating part of "Lost" - you get some answers, but usually those answers spawn new questions. All in all, it just keeps you glued to the TV/TIVO/DVR and I actually like the new strategy of "stockpiling" episodes so that the viewers don't have to wait several weeks for filming to finish.

The first episode this week was great! Lots of time travel and crazy plot twists.


It was pretty funny too.Neal getting shot with aflaming arrow. Hurley's I heart Shi Tzus t-shirt. Hurely throwing his hot pocket at Ben.

The plot thickens even more after tonight's episode. What's so interesting about the direction the show is taking is that a lot of the location shifting is based on real science. Quantum physics, specifically, and the underlying principles can help explain a lot of what's happening in the show, except for the time shifting. Scientists have been able to prove that quantum properties allow matter to exist in different locations simultaneously, but I've heard nothing about "time travel". Any like-minded Lost addicts with a physics background care to shed light on this topic?
