May you rest in peace. I will miss your loud voice and wacky products. Thanks to you, I have the Engrave-it.

If it wasn't for Billy Mays I would have never tried OxyClean. It's a great product.

I felt badly to learn of his passing. I watched a few episodes of "Pitchmen" and found it really interesting. I have a bit more faith in those kinds of products, seeing how carefully they select them.

The Mighty Putty that he advertises is great stuff! So are Hercules Hooks (though not sure if he's the spokesman for that...)

Every time I would hear "Billy Mays Here" I would have to turn the volume down on the TV. But I couldn't stop watching whatever he was pitching. RIP Billy.

Sadly, we are now finding out that Billy Mays had cocaine in his system. This could be very tarnishing...

I was sorry to hear the cocaine story, too. And he had so much to live for.....

What is your feeling about airing his commercials now? I saw one last night and found it a little disconcerting. The fiance's opinion is that this was May's work and he would want it to go on, and I can see his point, but I find I don't like watching them.

Agreed on OxiClean, particularly the carpet product.

I agree with your fiance'. Unfortunately the people he ended up hurting were himself and his family (because he is no longer here). I think it is really unfortunate that he died this way because he was young (and taking drugs is dumb), but I didn't really look at him as a role model - he was a pitchman. And I am thinking that there are probably lots of people that we all watch on TV everyday who are hocked up on drugs and we don't even know it!

Unfortunately, hearing about the cocaine has now forced me to wonder where all his hyper-gusto came from...
