Probably not. Even if the humans do survive, eventually the gene pool will start crossing paths and they'll all end up tards like they do in idiocracy. Lol.
Nah, there is a sufficent gene pool among the colonists to continue without incestuous mutations occuring. Plus there is also the introduction of the cylon genes into the population. Wether the introduction of the cylon genes will result in an eventual speciation or wether they will end up as what would be considered human is unknown though. Maybe the hope for humanity is the result of speciation from the hybrids.

You need to take the "What happened before will happen again and again and again" statement a bit further. Humans created the toasters who then developed themselves into humans who will some day create toasters who will develope...it's an endless circle.


On another note I'm sad to learn that there are only 10 episodes left to BSG but I am looking forward to the spin off series Caprica.

I got bit by the "Frak" bug a bit late in the game (This season!), so thank the one, true god of the Cylons for the DVDs! I really enjoy the writing, acting, production, etd. of this show. I think it really raised the bar for any SciFi shows that come after it.





I do hope they enlighten us on the background of final four of the five, and tell us if they are unique (no other Tighs, Anders, etc running around)? If so, doesnt that make them human, as they couldn't resurrect? And I'd like to know if their early memories (childhood, teens, etc) are real, or if they have been programmed.





I wish this series wouldn't end, but I think it best that it does before it jumps the shark.

Although I don't know yet who the fifth Cylon is, I met Edward James Olmos and Michael Hogan at this year's Dragon*Con in Atlanta, Georgia. They didn't reveal anything about the latter half of season four, but they did mention another movie to be released which will add backstory to the Galactica universe.
