Any comments about who will win Biggest Loser? I expect to hear from Diana any time now! I predict that Mark will win. Also, see how hard it is to lose weight? They work out six hours a day and really watch their food intake and still sometimes only lost a pound a week.

One of my favorite shows.

Hard to say who's going to win at this point - especially since we don't know if Mark or Roger will survive the vote. Mark is a good choice; but I think my vote would go to Ali. She's really made an amazing transformation.

My greatest respect to all of them though - what they're achieving is truly amazing. They're all winners.

By the way - I wasn't sorry to see Dan go. He's a good kid but the show was TOTALLY going to his head and he had become pretty obnoxious (in my opinion).

How did I miss this thread?!?

I can't remember where I found it but if Ali loses 14lbs, she will have lost 50% of her bodyweight.

Kelly will need to lose something like 43lbs to get to 50%. She doesn't lose weight easily. I don't know when they left the campus but it would takeATLEAST a month for her to lose that, IF she worked out crazily.

Mark, in order for him to reach 50% will have to get down to 130lbs! Not too far for him to go, but wouldbe wayyyyyyy too skinny for him.

I think Roger'shad to lose something in the 40lbs area to reach 50%. So, if he stays in, he also has a great chance of winning.

I voted for Mark because it kind of feels like voting for both the "budders" - plus we need a girl winner! My daughter voted for Roger because she couldn't stand watching Mark cry every week since he got back... but I think she forgot to vote :P

B, I didn't even know you liked this show! You could have been screaming with S and I every Tuesday!!

Good analysis, D!

I was going to vote, but didn't because NBC wanted too much personal info. I was going to vote for Mark, though and really....it's because I would like to see one of the girls win too. I have to wonder if I feel that way because I have a massive crush on trainer Jillian, though. :-)

I agree about Mark and the crying. I like the guy well enough and don't have a problem with guys crying but he's gotten to the point where he's sobbing every 5 minutes and that's just getting a bit much.

There was a moment several weeks ago when Trent and Roger were in their room talking and Roger was looking at one of his wedding photos and tearing up about how he was at his fattest on his wedding day. It was very touching.

So it was a tough call for me between Mark and Roger- but ultimately Roger is the bigger "threat" so I thought the game would be more interesting if Mark was there. But...I never got my vote in so I guess that's just academic.

Yep, I love this show. I don't really do much screaming during the show, though. And I DVR it so I usually watch it on Wed or some other day.

Remember at the beginning of the season how Mark was so mean to everybody, including his brother? As the weight came off he seemed to calm a bit but when he came back after that huge weight loss, he was completely weepy. I think he had been using his weight as a way to protect his feelings and as he lost the weight his emotions were closer to the surface. He could no longer stuff his feelings with food. Hence, the crying.

Roger is definatly a threat. However, his hard ass attitude lately may have swayed many of his supporters over to Mark and Ali. Ali irritated me when she first refused to wear black and then againwhen she voted Brittany off! Dan got COMPLETELY self absorbed but I felt sorry for him when he realized that he was going to be voted off.

I DVR the show then start watching it about 30-45 minutes after it starts so that I can ff through the commercials. The down side is that I have to be ubber careful about reading User's emails at about 9pm! That's ok, she is going to miss this Tuesdays and thinks I am going to be nice about not revealing the results. I might have to give her a call at about 9pm... I was NOT sorry to see Dan leave at all! He was a punk, straight up. His mom was too, ha ha. I voted for Mark. He is militant in his desire to change his life. So I hope it comes down to Kelly, Ali and Mark. Roger rubs me the wrong way.

I read on Ali's Myspace page that Diana graciously sent to me that Ali is worried that she'll have to get to an unhealthy weight in order to win. I'm like, do it sister! After you win you can use about $50 and go to Chili's and chow down.

I'm so excited!! I told Diana that I can't see the finale on Tuesday because I have tennis that night. I might have to stay up extra late that night.

I forgot to add that it drives me CRAZY to see those shameless product placements they do on the show. I mean, do they think we don't realize we're seeing a commercial? Geeeeez! Drives me nuts.

I agree that Ali could get away with going too low, but that would suck for Mark.

S, I am calling you at 9PM on Tuesday to make sure you are watching it! There is NOway I will be able to keep my mouth shut until THURSDAY!:P

Dan was good in the beginning but after his Mom left and the Blue/Black split happened he got totally out of control. The Vegas trip was the beginning of the end for him with me. SO COCKY!

The other guy I thought was interesting was Paul - all of his Kung Fu bravado and zero discipline. I wouldn't be surprised if he turns out to have lost the LEAST weight of all the original contestants when all the dust settles.

Ali still has a few pounds she could lose, but no easy pounds. What is she - 5'6"? Even 125 wouldn't be unhealthy for her, I don't think, but it would be pretty hard for her to get there I think.

What always makes me double-take is that some of those guys are down to less than I am (I weigh 209) and still look heavier than I think I do. My one reassurance is that my body fat percentage is reasonably low (about 15%) and I'm fairly muscular.

I'm down from almost 240 and I still have a few pounds I could lose too...I'm not sure I'll see the shady side of 200 again, but it's possible.

On the show I think Kelly is likely to be in 3rd place; regardless of who the first two are. I'd like to see Ali win.
