The reason I do not watch sitcoms is the canned laughter. I feel "canned laughter" is insulting. If the line or situation is really funny then I will laugh. I do not want to be told by some network person or producer that something is funny. How do you feel about canned laughter?

Not as insulting as the canned laughter used by some morning radio showsafter the DJ says something idiotic and not funny at all.

Canned laughter in use for radio? Now that is funny ... I've never experienced that with the brekkie shows I listen to on my way to work!

Oy vey, canned laughter on a radio show can only mean that they have no audience...


i agree with you completely, aom. i've always wondered why M*A*S*H used a track - the eps that are missing the track are so much more enjoyable...
