I've noticed that lots of the cartoons directed at kids aren't very "cute" or well drawn today.... lots are very rude, loud, bright, disgusting and annoying... which is a shame. I grew up on nice cartoons like Rupert...
We must be around the same age, because I took a daily dose of Sailor Moon right along with the vitamins my Mom reminded me to take 5 thousand times before 8am every morning. And with Rupert...wasn't that some Nick Jr. staple? I was of the Pinwheel generation, which isn't a cartoon at all...yeah!


I still lurve me teh cartoonz. Anything and everything on Adult Swim (minus the Tim/Eric Awesome show... if by awesome you mean utter crap), and I still fondly recall the Smurfs, Transformers, G.I. Joe, USA Cartoon Express, anything Gundam, oh hell, any 90s anime that made a US TV appearance. I definitely was "that child" raised by television. I still waste way too much time watching unlicensed anime online. That's not why I'm on eharmony at all.... no....

I turned off my cable to save $$...what channel has "Animation Domination"? I just want to know, and thus make myself suffer that I can't afford it.


I'll be watching cartoons until I die, and hell, I'll probably haunt my family so I can watch new episodes.

I love anime. I am going to an anime covention next weekend. I am gonna dress as Scar from Full Metal Alchemist....lol.
