If you want to visit Romania, be extremely careful in areas such as Constanta and Bucharest (there may be other cities too - anyone else seen them in other Romania cities?). On my first trip to Romania, the gypsies were easy for foreigners to spot and avoid. On my second trip there, the gypsy problem has gotten worse. The gypsies dress like everyone else in Romania and are arduous for a foreigner to spot. I was very fortunate that the woman I was visiting spotted the gypsy sitting next to me, alerted me, and asked me to give her my wallet. If the woman was not there with me, the gypsy would have robbed me. I'm not trying to scare anyone, but to advise all of you to be careful.
