I loved Toronto when I was there. Dinner, a day and a show is how I characterize that trip. We drove in, arrived in time for dinner, took a walking tour with my friend who lives downtown, checked out some night life in the gay district, next day, we shopped downtown, then had lunch at a great pub, then went to the ROM, then changed had dinner, went to Dirty Dancing, stayed up late in the hotel bar, wrapped it up the next day and drove out, stopped at Ikea and took the road less travelled to the out of the way McMicheal Art Gallery, which was a must stop - home to the Group of Seven. So worth it, even though it was whirlwind!

If anyone wants Toronto advice from someone who lives there--ask away and I will respond. I have lived there for 23 years and love it. I live in the heart of the city and enjoy everything about it except the traffic when you leave Toronto to go somewhere else. Love to help you.
