So to give a quick update on our trip:

We got in at 3:30am on Saturday, because our flight was delayed and we were delayed once we landed due to the storms. Stayed at the Le Parker Meridian with a room on the 33rd floor overlooking Central Park (one of the nicest rooms I've stayed in). We slept in that Saturday, then did Top of the Rock (awesome, I enjoyed that more than the Empire State Building), walked around, went in a few shops, went over to the UN and did the tour, then met up with some friends and went to Shake Shack, then this Cuban resturant for dinner (which was awesome!).

The next day we did the Met all day (incredibly awesome) after a walk in Central Park. After drinks, my wife and I went out for Thai food (some of the best Thai food we've had - and cheap too).

Monday we were one of the 240 people who got to go to the crown in the Statue of Liberty. Every day they sell 12,000 tickets to go to the island, and 3,000 tickets to go to the pedistal, and only 240 tickets to go to the crown (and pedistal). We had got those tickets 6 months in advance, and they treated us like VIPs. "Oh, is that a green bracelet? Right this way sir, don't wait in any lines."

Then I went to see the Episcopal church downtown while I let my wife go in the madhouse that is Century 21 and its discount shopping. 2 hours later, we walked over to a Pinkberry and I had pomegrante yogurt with strawberries, kiwi, pineapple, and blueberries (it was awesome).

After that, we took a cab back to our hotel and got ready for the evening. I was all dressed up in a Kenneth Cole black shirt and khaki pants, and my wife was dressed up in a stunning red dress (and she did her hair too! ). We walked down to a place right near where Phantom was playing called EtceteraEtcetera, and had a wonderful meal, then walked a block over to Phantom. Sat in the first row - it was incredible! (again, my wife is very awesome with finding deals on tickets - plus we got these 6 months ago).

Loved Phantom. I knew all the music, but not the story. It was great.

Then the next day, we called it a day, and took a bus to Baltimore. The cost for both of us for the bus? 9 dollars.

Oh yeah, I went to the Apple Store on 5th Ave... what a madhouse! It was insane. I had never been to a Apple Store before. Wow. Craziness.

Overall, a great vacation!
