What was your last vacation?

What will your next one be?

~~~
My last "real" vacation was an incredibly fun road trip from Los Angeles to Dallas, Texas! It was October of last year. Me and my best friend went for a "musicians jam" he was taking part in. On the way there, I got together with some old friends in Phoenix, AZ which was awesome, and on the way back I saw the AMAZING Grand Canyon for the first time. We visited the north rim, and it was SNOWING! I was so overcome at the sheer size and beauty of it that I cried (lol, I'm such a girl!)
My next "real" vacation will be this summer. I'll be going to Canada (eh!) for the first time, for another musician's jam. I'll be visiting Toronto and Montreal and am SO EXCITED!
~~~

How about you? Share a fond vacation memory and your excitement for an upcoming trip with us!

Last vacation: Alaska (Glacier Bay) with Laura and my girls. Catch phrase of the trip: "Get a room!" Answered: "We have 14!" It was wonderful to have sole access to a remote road and a Suburban

Next vacation: Alaska (Glacier Bay....doesn't get old) with Laura

Last vacation: November Caribbean cruise - Ft Lauderdale/ Bahamas/Grand Cayman/Roatan-Honduras/Cozumel=Mexico. Had some rain, some sun, not enough snorkeling! Enjoyed Cozumel and Grand Cayman the most. The good thing about cruising is that you unpack once and always travel with your hotel room at whatever port you're visiting. The downside is that you're only in port for one day and you can't do everything you might want to do.

Next trip: Ecuador/Galapagos Island boat trip and Peru/ Machu Piccu. The train to Machu Miccu better be running by June! (The tracks were washed out in recent massive flooding and I'm not taking a donkey ride!)

My last one was supposed to be London at the end of January but I wound up just making a 700$ donation to the airline. Couldn't make it. (third time that has happened to me once I was supposed to go to Paris, the other NYC. Its a bummer)

IDK I'm not real excited about air travel right now with the full body scan thing going so I haven't planned anything.
