You are given the opportunity to travel to any ONE location in the world for your next vacation, and money is not an issue. Where would you go, and why would you want to go there?

I think Italy - I would love to spend a year there and just explore the whole country. Food, wine, art, music - Why wouldn't I want to go there?

I would go to Switzerland. My Grandparents went when I was 15 and sent me a postcard picturing the Matterhorn.

I really am going to reply to this thread, especially since I posted it, but I can't seem to narrow it down to one place. There are so many places I'd love to see! Maybe I should pick the one I have the least chance of being able to see anytime soon...hmmm...

For my next vacation I am thinking I'm going to take my kids to the Grand Canyon. I've never seen it myself, except from an airplane.

For my next vacation with a "significant other," I'd like to go on a cruise or an all-inclusive resort in Mexico. Gotta get that significant other first, though!

I'm a fisherman. My vacation for the last 20 years has been to a lodge in Northern Ontario. So I look at places where fishing is available. New Zealand would be my first choice. I have friends there so I wouldn't have to worry about finding a place to stay or someone to guide me to the best spots. Second choice would be Australia. Same logic would apply.
As far as exotic places. My job takes care of that I looking forward to visiting Japan, Singapore and possibly Diego Garcia early next year.

Greece and the greek islands. I would love to see all the ruins.. experience the culture. Scuba dive, enjoy the cuisine, the history and the people. I would be going camera crazy with pictures.
