I've already been to San Jose, CA for a working vacation. I hope to go to Myrtle Beach, SC for a few days, if possible.

I have plans to go to Destin, Florida. Lots of great things to do,beautiful white sand beach,fabulous food! I have done some research, asked a lot of people.Everyone so far has said it is BEAUTIFUL PLACE!!! Fishing boat will take you out to fish for a reasonable price. Black river bottom where you can drift lazily down the river for a cheap fare, A place called the Track where you can do all kinds of fun stuff, Go carts, bungy jumping, rides, ect.. you can go snorkling, either bring your own snorkel stuff or have a local co. take you for 25.00 Check it out! I will let you know how it was later this year,I will be going in 1st week of Ayg. as that is when my son's B-Day is. REALLY HOT I know!

Vacatonstarted early this year. I took my daughter to D.C. for Spring Break. We missed the Cherry Blossom Festival the week before, but they were still beautiful. We had a blasted! This summer we will do hops to the beach, bike rides on different trails, cavern trips and whatever else pops into our head.

While I may do some additional things over the summer, my big trip is to Munich where I will be spending a week in July with a friend of mine who lives there.

I've already had a short vacation spent in California and am wishing that it was September already so that I could go on my real vacation. I'll be spending two weeks in London. During that time I want to sneak over to Paris for a day or two and just try to enjoy myself as much as possible. I'm arriving two days before the Mayor's Thames Festival and am so excited to go!!

Probably not going anywhere this year because I spent more time than expected in Minnesota after my dad ended up with a brain injury after slipping on ice in his driveway. I left home planning on being there for about 10 days and returned home 6 weeks later! While I was there, Mom had a kidney removed because of cancer. All in all, not a fun trip but my parents have always been there for my sisters and me...and I could do no less for them.

Will probably end up taking short hikes on the Appalachian Trail during long weekends since my daughter lives within about 10 minutes from part of it.
