I am thinking of cruising around the British Isles. I want to pick up a flute/pipe in Cork. I visited Scotland last year and it was amazing. Having never cruised before, I am told it is the way to go.

If things work out I planning on taking a motorcycle trip in June or July. I have the route all worked out. I will leave Texas, ride through with stops in New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North and South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas. The trip will be about 8700 miles and most likely will take me at least 3 weeks if not more because I want to see the Grand Canyon, Yosemite National Park, Grand Teton Park, Yellowstone park, Devil's Tower and the Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee.
Have you been to the HD museum before? It's actually a walking tour through the factory and you can watch while parts of the engines are made. I went last summer on my way to Minnesota and it was fascinating!

Have a wonderful trip!!

Everyone's trips spound so fun!! They make the traveler in me anxious to be seeing new places (or old places/faces I haven't seen in a while. =)

I have tentative plans to go to Idaho later this year, California (Disneyland!! Silly, I know, I do love it though) at the end of the year, and Tombstone sometime this spring.

Tombstone's the only new place, unless my friends and I actually go through with our plan to take a road trip to Dallas/Ft. Worth area. =)

Next year; though, a cruise!! Either to Alaska (girls' choice) or the Caribbean (gus' choice). I think we kind of got that one mixed up. =)

Hope you all enjoy your trips! For those of you going to Europe, I think you'll love it! Be careful on your motorcycle trip.... cross country on a motorcycle is definitely on my wish list! Never been to Japan, or the mid/eastern states.....Another someday wish =)

May God bless each of you on your trips!

I will be flying to Alaska, with my son, and taking a ferry, driving back down the west coast, over through the desert in the spring. to introduce the gentleman to the rest of the family. have planned to take pics of the wee bairn in each locale, that we may download it back to his preK class, and they can do geography along with us.

Camping! I can afford a very long, leisurely stay close to natural beauty for much less than a hectic 3 day weekend on some package tour. I don't have to deal with the nightmare airports have become, either.(Sorry but last time I flew I decided being shot out of a cannon would be nicer)

I'm recently met and been dating a retired marine chief warranty officer who loves traveling... We plan to hit Las Vegas for a little down time, sleep late, hit the gym, sauna, hot tub, gamble a little, see a few shows, see Hoover Dam, maybe hike in the local parks. We've also talked about driving to Big Bend National Park in West Texas, going to McDonald Observatory outside Fort Davis, maybe hike in the park. The rest of you folks are going on such great trips - have a great time.

I'm going to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. San Miguel is a colonial city and was named a UNISCO World Heritage site last summer. It is a really cool city in the mountains of Mexico, summer temps are in the 70's with no humidity. Fabulous place!!
