Hi, Katie,

I am aDisney fanatic and go often. My best advvice is to be well-planned. The parks are huge and lines are long, restaurants there are booked up months in advance. With the right planning you can eat well, go on all the rides your kids and you like, have a great time and miss most of those lines. There is an online group called dissers I belong to with lots of forums all about Disney - they can offer advice on anything and everything. I use it every trip and go 3 times a year. Go to www.disboards,com. They even have a singles forum!

Don't miss the fireworks and parade at closing at the majic kingdom. Your kids would also really enjoy animal kingdom. I also suggest one of the waterparks for a laid back day for you to rest a bit. The wavepool is pretty strong for little ones. Alot of kids spend time at the hotel pool later in the evening. I would definately include the food option and make reservations now for places to eat a once daily sit down meal. The snack gives you some water or a drink or icecream for the day. Many of the sit down meal choices are great for kids with characters onhand and the food for the meal plan is very cheap or even free for a paying adult. If you take advantage of this you can make your meal reservations now. I suggest the meal (breakfast) at animal kingdom and the evening meal at the hotel the tram/train goes through and stops. Pizza is a great choice for carry from Pop Century Hotel and don't forget you get a desert and usually fruit too. I wish I were going. Also, if grandma or Grandpa get tired rent a wheelchair. It will put you to the head of the line. Don't sit in the back of the Safari Vehicle...you'll nearly be tossed out. Have fun. Also, I suggest buying a book to help you figure things out and have a map.

I took my daughter about nine years ago and learned a lot from the AOLDisney travel boards. Based on the boards, I had a Town Car service pick us up at the airport. The driver took us to a local supermarket on the way to the hotel so I could get some snacks and what not, which came in very handy.

I took some advice that at first thought was crazy! Several people said to do laundry while there. For a long time I just thought pffffft on that but I went ahead and got someTide at the supermarket and was so glad I did. We stayed at the Yacht Club and their laundry facility was right next to the quiet pool. I did the laundry early one morning and even had room service deliver coffee poolside. lol It was great and certainly didn't seem like work. It was so nice not to have tons of laundry to do when I got home.

Have a great time and be sure to give us a trip report when you get back.
