Any suggestion(s)? From Miami to West Palm Beach .. I'm all confused! Planning to just stay 3-4 days. Which one has the best beach?

i use to live in panama city Fl. I've been to Ft. walton, that's where my brother lives, its pretty there too. I

Spot on! My sister has lived there for 5 years (Ret Air Force) and I love the laid back atmosphere in the entire area. There's lots of beaches north of Panama City, too. I prefer the Gulf side compared to the Atlantic side. It's all about what you'd prefer.....

I live in Hawaii...Ever thought about coming out here for a vacation? It's beautiful...I like Florida too...It's just too far from home for me

Fort Lauderdale Beach! Miami is too expensive, Palm Beach is too stuffy. Fort Lauderdale has great beaches, hotels at a descent price, and a cool downtown and beach bars.

Depends on what you're looking for. To skip the crazy crowds for a moderate price, and indulge in the softest, most powdery sand you've ever squished between your toes, I recommend Sarasota. It's got a quaint mainstreet near the beach and decent nightlife in the "city" (with its whopping two high rises). There's a thriving art scene, too. And no, I'm not a travel agent, although I'll take any sort of commission you're willing to share. I live in FL and visit Sarasota frequently. I LURVE it there.

I personally love the Ft. Myers area. Clean and not as crazy as Miami. Nice people. Great restaurants. I ran into a couple of movie stars at one of the restaurants here. One of the top racing greats and couple of stars. It was great to see how the staff protected their privacy without offending other guests. The restaurant has a great reputation. 3-4 days is not enough time to tour Florida beaches! hhaaha





I agree, Fort Lauderdale has great beaches. I was just in Miami and its pretttyyy expensive.. over rated beaches. Ft. Laud has the best and the area is reasonably priced. Also, check out West Palm.. is not too far from Ft Laud > It is a little bit more pricey but hey, you're in FL enjoy your time there !
