I didn't care too much about this game until I started watching it, and was apalled at the poor sportmanship by the SF players and fans. I was very excited by the Giants' win!

It was an ugly win for us...and praise Brady for being honest during the trophy presentation speech..."I sucked tonight but am thankful for our great defense"...LOL...

And he didn't even smile the whole night after the win....But I am happy to have a rematch with the Giants after they broke our 18-0 streak four years ago in the Super Bowl...

Game on!!!!

Here's our bet....whoever loses has to come on here and type 20 times either:
Ingy is so smart and her Patriots Rock! or

They're going to (rightfully so) lose to the Pats. They're a mediocre 12-7 team. They Pats are 15-3. Truthfully, that they even made it this far is a fluke. They're not an elite team and certainly not even close to being in the same league as New England. Eli Manning is a middle tier quarter back, Brady is near Joe Montana-esque, one of the best to ever play the position. Our defense is absolutely abysmal. NY's defense is only marginally better (NE ranked 31 by total yards allowed, NY ranked 27)

Frankly, NY really has no business even being in the superbowl. Green Bay is a much better team. the Saints are a much better team. Even San Fran was a better team. When it came down to it, the gmen found a way to win and good for them, but it truly is funny to have a 12-7 team playing a 15-3 team when the superbowl supposedly pits the "best" of each conference against eachother.

LOL...No problema...you are so wise to think up such a bet!

(and I was gonna make a bet that whoever loses has to write 50 times "I'm a loser" in the Sports group, in a thread...I like yours much better gurl!...It's a bet!)...got any good chili recipes?...)

Grrrrrrrrrr....and where do you by chance hail from?....Is your team in the SB?....

LOL...but seriously...I get your point...we may the the most overrated team in the NFC at times, but baby we live on panache and loads of gall...NY is lots of smoke and mirrors but as long as we can convince others that we are a team to beat, it's all in the mind games. I personally do not know how we made it to even in the running for the SB this year, but we hung in there and did the unthinkable...beat the Packers and 49ers...will wonders never cease? Just goes to show stats ain't everything....sometimes pure bravado and guts win the day. I love NY!!!!!!!!!!...(uh...this sounds alot like my dating lately...unpredictable and full of surprises...)

I say we beat the Pats...care to wager a friendly bet?...If I lose and I'm wrong, I will eat all the crow you got...Bring It!!!!!!!!!!

I'm getting a nice selection of San Francisco sourdough from a Niners fan friend who suggested a wager on the last game. I'll be heading to Legal Sea Food this weekend for some chowdah to make a nice bread bowl/soup meal to whammy the Pats.

Normally I wouldn't be so interested, but my BF is a big Giants fan and, well, I got caught up in all of it. Go Big Blue!
