The Brooklyn Dodgers were beloved for their keystone-cop approach to baserunning. In tonight's Dodger game, Vin Scully (Dodgers' hall of fame announcer) told an old Brooklyn Dodger joke:

A guy's out on the street outside Ebbets Field during a game, and he calls in to a guy up in the stands -- "What's going on?"

The guy in the stands says "The Dodgers have got 2 on base!"

Guy out in the street asks "Which base?"

Haha. So it happened tonight! Dodger pitcher Clayton Kershaw (22 years old, 3rd year in the majors, will be an ace) ran from 1st to 2nd and was starting for 3rd on a long fly ball -- outfielder dropped the ball, Kershaw didn't see that, ran back to 2nd then started to 1st, passing Raphael Furcal who was going to 2nd. Haha. Furcal was out.

Dodgers won 14-1. Arizona made 6 errors, a franchise record. It was a very entertaining game.

Tell me some fun baseball stories!
