Anybody catch this story? I don't watch a lot of soccer but I have to wonder where was her coach and the referees?

Elizabeth Lambert of New Mexico Lobos women's soccer suspended for rough play - ESPN

yeah...I did catch this.. What was her deal? she punched, kicked and pulled the ponytail of three different players.

She should have be thrown off the team! Imo she got off light with a suspension.

If that is the case then she definitely needs to be kicked off the team and again, I think the coach needs to be accountable for not dealing with this sooner.

I have to say I'm glad not to be on the receiving end of that.
She's scary!
It makes me wonder about the rest of her life...

That player was suspended indefinitely. The usual backhanded apology followed: "I apologize for my actions. It's not like me to do that." Blah blah blah. I'm glad the NCAA -- and New Mexico State -- acted swiftly in this matter.

Isn't wearing a ponytail like that asking to have your hair pulled?

That chick is out of her mind & also very subtle.

To top it off.. She wasn't given one red card in that game! The refs were all blind I guess!

The schools. have no b-a-ll-s.. She'll be back on the field again.. Just like the Oregon Univ. football player who just got reinstated today for punching a member of another team in the face at the end of the game while the teams were shaking hands..

If this was a non-athlete. They would be thrown off campus.

LOL - That is why my hair is the length it is! Not short but not long enough for a ponytail!
