Just wanted a new perspective.... why is that if you are a woman and people find out you like to hunt and fish and so forth; they assume you are not 'polished' and can be very much a lady? I like to hunt and camp and even have a handgun license but find it unusually common that people think I am suddenly not as smart or am even unnatractive. I thought people, (men in particular) would appreciate these traits in a a woman? I have a great job, love to read, am educated and like many different things like theater, movies, museums, etc but I really enjoy the outdoors! The great thing about this life we can have everything we want in this regards...thoughts about this?

Some men can look past stereotypes. They've never met a women who can be sexy or who is polished that enjoys the same outdoorsey activites they do. Some men are going to appreciate this.

I would think that women do this too. If a man pucked his eyebrows and got pedicures once a week. I'm sure some women would stereotype this male as gay.

Personally athletic women are very attractive to me. Any women that can drive a golf ball 200yds and then turn heads in a little black dress is sexy to me.
