What sports does everyone play / like to play?

I play indoor soccer and also run 5k's. I also love playing frisbee as well as snowboarding.

I was a total jock till I blew my ACL, MCL and medial meniscus at 28 playing socer. 4 surgeries later (and a 5th likely approaching) I'm more limited than I care to be. I can run only on a treadmill without significant swelling, but I do a lot of weights and cycling and walking and hiking. And I'm going to take golf lessons this summer. Sucks to get old. I want to learn to ski since we have a ski house in NH, but my surgeons keep telling me I'm nots to do that at 46. But we'll see. I keep thinking if I can build up my quads and hamstrings enough I can handle it.

Jiu-Jitsu and other martial arts. I compete a few times a year just for the fun of it. Flag football / sandlot smackdown is also a lot of fun in the summer.

I'm a tennis player, recreationally of course. I play on a league here in Houston. My partner is blind in one eye so we play down a level but she's still freakin' good!!

I used to play volleyball and softball until I developed rotator cuff tendonitis. I've also been in and out of physical therapy for the past 20 years for my knees. My sister's a physical therapist and the state of my knees just freaks her out.

I still water ski a few times a year and swim - along with walking and working out at the gym when I can.

I play indoor co-ed soccer which I find fast, exciting, painful and exhilarating. Most of the time I don't notice the injuries until the next day when aches, pains and bruises make their selves known. I also enjoy running and have done mud-runs, 5K-10K-1/2 marathons but not the ultimate... the full marathon. I lost my running partner so running has become a single event for me now.

I love to ski, swim, hike, climb, play softball, ... basically any activity/sport that pushes me to excel. It's not that I'm competitive - my maingoal is to best myself.

Cycling- I certainly dont have the protypical cyclist physique, but have done two centuries in the last year and training for number three next month. I finished the first in 9 hours of riding, then second in 8 1/2. In the words of Greg LeMond, "it doesnt get easier, you just get faster."

Golf- carry an 11.6 index.
