I like fishing from a boat, preferably in the middle of a lake where if there are other people, I can't hear them.

I mostly use a hand reel with a small metal sinker and small prawns as bait.

I like fishing, too! I was raised catching fish on the river I have a Shakespeare pole I always keep handy in the back of grandmother's jeep. My grandmother and I love to fish together. She's taught me all I know about the sport

We just catch and release. It's more fun that way...unless you're starving in the woods and need to eat the ones you catch. Look out, Nemo! LOL!

Maybe they're ashamed to admit it. Not me. My dad started me when I was about 10. I can think of very few places I've been since then where I haven't had a fishing rod of some sort with me. It's my sanity check. Favorite rod. Whatever I happen to have in my hand. These days it's mostly one of my fly rods. I drag out the spinning rods, surf rods or trolling rods a couple of times a year just to shake off the dust and keep in touch with them. Favorite place to fish anywhere I can wet a line.
