I was looking at the cover of my wife's Shape magazine. On the cover was a picture of a girl in a bikini. I decided to look inside for more pictures and find out who this girl was. I was surprised to learn it was Danica Patrick who drives Indy race cars internationally. She is 5'2" tall, 100 lbs and 27 years old. I googled her name to learn more about her. This girl is one competitor. She rivals Shirley Muldowney for competitiveness and sheer determination.

Yep - She was 5th fastest today at The Indianpolis Motor Speedway. Went 224.755MPH. That takes a lot of skill and nerve.





She's a short little powerhouse and even tho they airbrushed the pics in there, she is quite nice to look at.





I'm headed to the speedway on Sunday, I'll tell her ya'll said HI.

Yeah, Danica is probably the only reason I would watch indy car racing. She certainly has the sex appeal, which is probably good for the sport, to draw more spectators and all. Best of all she's not just eye candy who can't win like Ann Kournakova was, Danica has the drive and actual talent.

I watched the Milwaukee Indy Race this weekend. Danica came in 5th. She was having vibration problems. According to the announcer this is her 4th straight race where she has come in 5th or better. She beat her teammate this time, Marco Andretti.
