What is your favorite sports team ? What was your memorable sports related memory (romantic, funny, dramatic, horrific) with them ?

LA Angels!!!!! My most memorable memory occured this past season. I was at the game where Garrett Anderson had 10 RBIs against the Yankees. That was the best game!! Oh and of course when we won the World Series in 2002!

I do have a soft spot for LSU football. I got to see a few games and that was fun!

But my most memorable sports memory has to do with Dale Earnhardt Jr. winning the second Daytona race of 2001, after his father had been killed in the first Daytona race of that year. Nothing will ever top that. The race ended up finishing after midnight yet I was up screaming and yelling as Jr. came from behind to win it all. Cried like a baby too.

Love the Miami Dolphins! I am a HUGE Dan Marino fan! Best/Worst Memoryan's last home game (Dec. 27th, 1999) against the Jets on Monday night. Boy I miss him!!

Leeds United Football Club, based back home in England.

My favouritememory is of when Mark Viduka scored all 4 goals in a 4-3 victory over Liverpool. We were 2-0 down after 20 minutes and with 10 senior players injured, we had a reserve line up playing. It snowed as the fourth goal went in and the much maligned Viduka wrote himself into Leeds folklore at the expense of one of the country's most celebrated teams.

My worst memory is relegation, either from the Championship or Premiership. With the former, our club nearly went bust. Also, we lost to Galatasaray of Turkey at Leeds in the UEFA Cup, just after two of our supporters were brutally stabbed to death by their Turkish counterparts in the other game against them. The minutes silence was very emotional (I admit I shed a tear as did the other 40,000 supporters in the ground) and I was so proud of the lads who drew 2-2 on the night in these circumstances and ultimately were knocked out of the UEFA Cup.

I'm a Houston Astros fan. I ogled Biggio and Bagwell in the late 90s. My favourite memory was a Saturday night game in Houston where we were closely tied with the Braves and coming from behind in the ninth winning and won with a grand slam! WOOHOO! Oh, and that was back in the days of the Astrodome, too.

Love the SF 49ers. Always have. Guys like Montana, Rice, Craig, Taylor, Lott...etc. Granted, we've fallen on hard times lately, but we'll be back soon.

are best in the West! . There are many fun memorable games including opening nights, Kobe's 81 point night, Lakers/Suns playoffs, Christmas day rivalry games and always any night when they give out free tacos. It'll be more memorable when the Lakers meet the Celtics in the finals this season.

I have to agree with LA-Angel on this one. I absolutely love the Angels. I don't think I missed a game last year - was either at the game, watching it on tv or listening to it on the radio. Yes, I need to get a life! My favorite moment was going to one of the ALCS games against the Minnesota Twins during our magnificent run to the World Series in 2002. My mom surprised my dad and I with tickets. We were down on the field and the energy in the stadium was amazing. It was loud and fun and just amazing. Winning that game was icing on the cake.

I also love football and am a huge RAMS fan. So obviously I can't stand the SF 49ers (sorry chrlesmd).
