Oh well, my Sox fell off eventually, but heck, they did GREAT. Tampa Bay have been consistently excellent all season, you have to hand it to them & wish them luck. Fabulous comeback these past two games from the Red Sox though, gotta love those boys. I feel bad for them, but look how far they came, & they never rolled over and died......

Well, it was a great series as both teams had their ups and downs. Did you know that the Sox open the 09 season at home against the Rays?That'll mean the Soxwill have played 10straight against the Rays. I'm looking forward to that series, but first we'll see how the Rays do against the Phillies in the World Series. Go Rays!

I know, how awesome, 10 straight games!


The Rays have been so consistently good all season too, they really turned around from their last season performance, it's a cool story for them, you can only give them huge amounts of credit, they've played great. Whoever wins the Series now I'll be happy for - I have "some" allegiance to Philadelphia because I lived there for 4 years, but also am pleased for the Rays and their story. So I think the Series will be going to a deserving team whatever the outcome.

While I wish my Cubbies could have made the World Series, and ended their 100 year drought, I have to say: the Phillies and the Rays are the 2 best and 2 most deserving teams in the World Series. I think this is going to go 7 games. While the Rays lost tonight, I ultimately think that they will pull it out.

I agree Oregon, the 2 most deserving teams are definitely there after their performances this season. Both hungry for victory too, should be a good series!
