Doesn’t God want married people to share their wisdom?

Before I got married I asked my parents for advice. They just grinned and said, “the best advice we can give you Diana is that you will figure it out as you go.” My Grandparents were at the opposite end of the advice giving spectrum and talked my ears off. They gave me a ton a great advice, but I was on information overload! It was too much at once and I sort of shut it all out!

I get that marriage is going to be a different experience for everyone. It still seems like married people would be more vocal and generous about sharing what married life is like and how hard it is instead of giving short paradoxical answers.

Are you married? What advice do you give people who are about to get married? Do you think it helped?

Please share.

All marriages are 'Made in Heaven'

A 'marriage' is the 'Female aspect of the universe acting upon the male aspect'

For me.....the most difficult marriage can be the most productive.

Favorite line from the movie Lost In Space (the remake).

Mr. Robinson: “You oppose me in everything I say.”

Mrs. Robinson: “Of course, I’m your wife.”

I am not married. When I tell them anything, I advise that marriage itself is, in a way, the denial of the self. If more people followed this, there would not be nearly as many divorces.
