Okay, this is a weird question maybe, and I'm not sure how to phrase it.

Why doesn't denomination of religion show up on the public profile, since we fill it out as part of our profile? There are certain denominations of every religion that are really different from each other. (I don't want to be extremely specific, since the exact religion isn't important.) In my area of the country, a certain denomination of my religion is extremely common, but my denomination is not at all common, and the two denominations are very different. That's information I would like to know about someone, and I'm sure they'd like to know about me as well. Is there a way to see it that I don't know about? Or is that not an option?

I know some people will say that it shouldn't matter if it's the right person, and in reality it probably wouldn't, but it's still something I'd like to know as it is often a major influence in one's outlook on life.

Just send a PM (private message) to one of the Admins and they'll move it for you.

It would be interesting. Though, I say that the only essential thing is Christ. One's life will show you how accurately they abide by the name.

If a 'teaching' starts off in a particular way....humans seem to 'prefer' certain bits that suit them and ignore the rest. Thus a 'teaching' that becomes a 'religion' becomes fragmented. It mirrors the fragmentation that is within all of us. Different 'interpretations' of an original teaching may end up dividing people so much they are prepared to kill one another in the 'name' of a fragment of a teaching....
Life is interesting?
