In the 'eternal' there is NO movement because movement is in time.

So.....is 'creation created' in the time process or in the eternal moment?

The implications may be interesting..............

Perhaps 'creation' is NOT actually 'created'..........?

Can you expand on this?

I have heard that this may explain why God can see all possible outcomes of a given situation simultaneously and still know which outcome will materialize without influencing any. If I interpreted your statement correctly about there not being any movement in the eternal it does seem to align with the idea that God simply is.

So are you saying that Creation simply “is” as well? This is an interesting notion because if God is the Creator at some point there had to be movement in the “eternal.”

in the Eternal................there is NO movement.
If I hold up my hand and ask 'how many fingers'...you see the five simultaneously. There is no need to count. We are 'omnescient' as far as seeing five fingers.

'God' 'sees' the totality of all galaxies, universes,
all of time...in a sense as we can see five fingers. What is 'seen' is beyond 'perfect' or 'imperfect'.................it simply IS.

An ACT must be in time. So to 'create time'....one has to be in time.

The 'creation' is therefore NOT CREATED. It simply IS...Eternally ....

What is 'SEEN' is what Is seeing.

'Non-being is a mirror, the world an image, and man
Is the eye of the image, in which the person is hidden.
Thou art the eye of the image, and HE the light of the eye.
Who has ever seen the eye through which all things are seen?

The world has become a man, and man a world.
There is no clearer explanation than this.
When you look well into the root of the matter,
He is at once seen, seeing eye, and thing seen.
The holy tradition had declared this,
and 'without eye or ear' demonstrated it.'

You are right. Most physical phenomena are measured relative to time. Acceleration is measured in meters per second squared. Distance is the product of velocity and time. Energy is the product of mass and the speed of light squared. So absolutely there can be no movement without time at least not the way we understand movement.

It goes without saying, however, that we don’t understand everything.

I was watching the movie Inception the other day and found it very interesting. It said in the dream state the mind both creates and perceives reality simultaneously. I know some people believe that dreams are nothing more than random electrochemical discharges in the brain. Other people believe that dreams are our subconscious trying to work out the obstacles faced by our conscious mind. I think our dreams are a great deal more. Some people who entertain the idea that the mind can exist without the body also believe that the dream state or “dimension” is where our consciousness resides when we are disembodied.

Have you ever talked to someone in a dream? Did you remember the conversation? Was it somebody you knew like a friend or perhaps a deceased family member? Did it feel like that person was really present? How is it that your mind can project such a convincing replica? Fascinating!

Another interesting tidbit in the movie was the discussion about how our subconscious mind has nearly limitless capacity. That’s a little frightening when you think about it but it certainly explains how sometimes people of seemingly meager mental resources can come up with astoundingly brilliant ideas. The subconscious mind isn’t fettered by our conscious “beliefs” of what is and is not possible!

All this is to say that Spirituality is more than just going to church on Sunday. For me Spirituality is about the whole person and how he or she understands and interfaces with the external world. It is about asking questions and expanding the mind. The great expanse of the universe is pale in comparison to the unexplored inner landscapes of the human mind.

For me the human mind....is a 'dustbin'.....it is the exhaust of the car....mind produces ideas, and ALL ideas are finite.
To begin to understand the INFINITE we need to go by the route of feelings. The intellect....mind....is a trap...

Dreams are certainly VERY interesting. We can dream...and be aware we are dreaming. There are those that study 'therapeutic dreaming'. I have not yet looked into it.

(Life is very interesting)
