The instant appearance of a world in which babies were not beaten, in which women were not abused, in which physical suffering was not the norm, a world where real true love of humanity was a constant presence and not a dream. No murder, no cancer, no dead bloated bodies floating down the stream. No horror. Anything touted as powerful enough to demand the devotation of millions better be able to produce something better than the inadequate, shameful, criminal state of being that this world is. And I don't give a shred of credence to any of the hogwash about us not being able to see the plan. This is part of a plan??? Really? A plan by what kind of sadistic monster?

yeah, but a lot of that is a result of the actions of human beings. we do that to ourselves. we do we require a god to make changes? WE created this mess why can't WE take responsibility for it to bring about change?

If there is a God then it was God that created man unrequested, and God must be responsible for the results of that action.

yes i agree with that but for us here and now in this physical world, we do have the power and capacity to bring about any positive changes that we might see as necessary.

I'll be sure to let all the scientists know that you said that it's possible for them to cure cancer so they'll stop playing tiddlywinks and really get down to work, then.

The question is unanswerable because evidence would have to be some sort of verifiable fact or truth, and perceptions of god are based on faith. No logical argument can dissuade a person of their faith, and no faith can persuade someone who seeks evidence.

A face to face encounter would do it for me, but by then, according to the folklore, it will be too late!

why is the existence of life itself not enough?? everything around us in the physical world has been created by some entity (man-made in most cases). why should a creator of life or God (or creative energy or whatever description you like) need to be visible? we got here somehow!?!!!

so therefore god? thats called an argument from ignorance, not evidence

and just an fyi, most atheists have probably addressed anything you will have to say. in fact, many atheists know more about different religions than those that practice and believe in said religions do
