Jesus himself gave us the perfect example of how to deal with loneliness. Yet He spent time in prayer, talking with God. When spending time in prayer and devotion like Jesus did, we can overcome loneliness and experience unexpected gains, also experience the unfailing love, comfort, and healing that can only come from our Father.

You are right! So many times we go looking for "temporary" satisfaction, when if we would only wait, and pray, God will pursue us with an everlasting Love that he Longs to fill that void with!

God helps those who help themselves. Don't just sit around waiting and praying that your match comes along... get out there and put yourself in places where you might actually meet that special someone, both online and in real life.

God isn't going to send him/her to you while you're sitting at home alone praying!

Comfort and healing can come only from earthly sources. There is no father to help you out when things get rough. That's what friends and family are for.

Hi, everyone! Of course - I believe that God can find a way to help us meeting someone special via online or reality. Indeed, many people attempt to seek someone special because they havent asked the Lord about finding him/her impatiently.

To me - I "met" someone via eHarmony.com and he is from Tucker, GA. I told him to depend on God first and seek His will for him. Also, I encouraged him to seek his heart and hear God's answer to his prayer. Last Tuesday, I spoke with him about that. Now - I havent heard anything from him since last Tuesday. I think that he is somewhat upset or regretted what he had done. But, I cannot assume that he is not interested. However, I sent a prayer card directly to him and I continue to pray for him and his heart. I believe that God can help him to open up his feelings. If he doesnt open up his feelings, then that means he is not ready to share his whole life with me. I respect his desire to continue seeking a true love somewhere.

I have nothing to worry about him at all. God is in control and He is leading me to the right path and find a true love. :-)

Have a positive thought and continue to pray :-)
