Those who want to "defend marriage" should be rushing to support this guy instead of prohibiting some committed couples from marrying because of gender!

Ummm no, just plain silly. Can you imagine the murder rates and suicide rates if that happened?
Same sex marriage will happen. It just takes work and time like anti-slavery and women voting did.

On social issues like these, the nation watches California. This guy's efforts are a joke to make a point, but if it really were something that got on the ballot, you would see millions of dollars flowing from all over the country from individuals and organizations working either to support or defeat it. And, it would be a big national story (just like Prop 8 was).
