Found this link, it dates back but is it a conspiracy against the world?

I don't really see this as a conspiracy. The only reason North Korea exists today is because China stepped in during the Forgotten War. It is not surprising they had a treaty.
From my point of view, which could be completely wrong, China has been pushing itself away from NK in recent years as it pushes its economy further away from socialism and more towards capitalism. Not to mention the human rights violations and international dislike NK has been a part of. Not that China has no human rights issues of its own but compared to NK they are angels in my eyes.
I have said this in previous posts but again, I feel that China is on the right path to overtake the US as the world super power. Yeah, they have their issues but it's nothing the US doesn't have a history of. I see them continuing to build, as capitalism tends to do to economies. Kudos to China for improving their economy, military and exports to the world. They have every right to do so.
Ok, i'm ready for the be.ating now. Someone come in and tell me how everything I said was wrong and how evil China is.

All required is a persmission slip to be friends, .. but a treaty, a friendship treaty?

I should think treaties are non-conspiracy aggreements, not handshakes.

Ah, I think I see now. I did not understand the point you were trying to make originally.

A Friendship Treaty is a Treaty which establishes close ties between two countries. Korea and China aren't the only countries to have such a Treaty in place. Some others we learned about in school:

~ Australia & Japan, 1976 (I'm Australian)
~ France & Germany, 1963
~ I think also that Vietnam and Kampuchea (Cambodia) signed one, or one similar to a Friendship Treaty, but my memory is a bit vague.
